TUSB will be supplying Gate,
Globe and Check Valves for the Process Platform
project under ONGC's B-193 project. Valued at
RM1.04m, we are expected to deliver the goods by end
of October.

TUSB secured a tender with
Thai Nippon Steel to supply Manual Ball Valves for
Salamander Energy Wellhead Platform Bravo BLWPB
Jacket, Topsides & Bridge Project in Thailand.
Valued at about RM330k, all goods are estimated to
be delivered by end of this October.
Relocation of TUSB Headquarters
TUSB Headquarters will be moving to a new office by end of 2011. Expected to be ready by November, renovations are being carried out as we speak. The new office will be located at No.1-3 & 3-3, Jalan 5/76B, Desa Pandan, 55100 Kuala Lumpur.
Reina Control Valve's breakthrough
TUSB got its first order for Reina Control Valve. Carigali-PTTEPI Operating Company Sdn Bhd, TUSB's first customer for our latest product, will be utilizing Reina Control Valve for its scheduled Shutdown in Songkhla, Thailand.
TUSB breaks into Vietnam market
TUSB was awarded with valve
supply tender by Mavain Sdn Bhd, a local contractor,
appointed by PetroVietnam & Petronas Carigali
Vietnam for RBDP-A Gaslift Project. The RM200k
tender is a breakthrough for us in Vietnam, a market
where we recently began exploring.
TUSB supplied DBB for SK-309 Project
TUSB supplied Double Block &
Bleed for GO-PA & GO-PB Gas Production Platforms for
SK-309 Phase 1 Project for Petra Resources Sdn Bhd,
the main contractor for the project by Murphy
Sarawak Oil Co Ltd. The tender was worth RM425k.
TUSB launches its latest product Reina Control Valve
Reina Control Valve was launched due to its
superiority of its trim material : utilizing the CVD
treatment method that produces trim hardness of more
than 80HRC. The C.V.D : Chemical Vapor Deposition is
a method that treats the base material with various
metallic gases that increases the hardness of the
base material, unlike coating where the harder
material is used to coat/stellite the soft base
material.
Due to this CVD treated material, Reina Valve has a
longer trim life as compared to stellite coated or
even tungsten carbide coated material.
At this moment, we have received an order from
Murphy Sarawak Oil Sdn Bhd, through Petra Resources
Sdn Bhd.

Thai Nippon Steel awarded tender to TUSB
The CPOC-JKB Project saw TUSB supplying
Ball Valves above 8 inch for the development
of their Wellhead Platform. The 2nd phase
project by CPOC, has awarded us with a deal
worth RM764k through Thai Nippon Steel, its
main contractor. All items were delivered
within 14 weeks.
Other than that, TUSB was entrusted to
supply Trunnion Ball Valves for EPCC Yetagun
Phase 4 Development Project, again awarded
by TNS.
TUSB officiated warehouse at Kundang
Other than our two branches, TUSB
Warehouse in Kundang is our first centre for
assembling and manufacturing flow-control
instrumentations. It has made possible for us to
locally produce ball valves, control valves and
actuators for the market we support. With a total
yard area of 22,000 sq ft with
workshop area of 16,000 sq ft and office area of
2,000 sq ft, it is equipped with painting,
blasting, assembling and testing facilities.
